The Institute of German Language and Literature I at the University of Cologne houses its own linguistics lab where experimental studies are carried out. We investigate how the human brain reacts to different language-related stimuli using various methods. This website introduces our lab for Experimental Linguistics in Cologne – the XLinC Lab. The University of Cologne's crisis management team, which is responsible for research, teaching and working conditions regarding Covid-19, has approved the hygiene protection concept developed by the XLinC Lab.
